I’m Lauren Holton, the heart and hands behind Lark Rising Studios. I’m a fiber artist, maker, creative educator, and design lover based in my home studio near the Puget Sound in Washington. I share my life with my husband, two wonderful children, and dog Lucy.

I love working with fiber and textiles through weaving, applique, and especially hand embroidery.
I find fiber arts to be incredibly therapeutic and love sharing the benefits of these crafts with others. Designing detailed, beautiful embroidery patterns and kits allows me to bring the joy of fiber into the hands of creative people everywhere.

Fiber Arts

When I take breaks from working on the small scale of embroidery, I bring other fibers and textiles into my creative practice with weaving and wool felt applique.

I've designed dozens of embroidery patterns to help you enjoy this timeless craft in a modern way. Let me guide you on your own embroidery journey.
